EL Cord Foundation awards ACF High Sierra Chef's Educational fund a $5000 grant for Chef and Kids. This money will be used to educate children about nutrition and a proper diet. Chef Jay joined 8 other Chef's at the International Chili Society local Chef's Cookoff for charity. And took first place winning $1000 for his favorite charity. Which happens to be the ACF High Sierra Chefs Educational fund scholarshipds.
Jay Said "I spent the afternoon cooking up some chili and went up against some tough competition and came out victorious. I was entered into the Chefs challenge at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino and had a great time cooking some wagyu brisket chili. Winning a $1000 for the High Sierra Chefs Association scholarship program made the win that much more satisfying."
